Camping

Last year we tried a little experiment to see how well on-site camping would go over. We're happy to say it was a success and something many racers told us they wanted to see in the future. Not to disappoint, we are offering camping at the start/finish area again this year only this time, we are offering it for two nights.

Each site it limited to 3 tents. You may have a fire, but it must be in a portable bin. There are no electricity or water hookups. You will have access to the bathrooms at the South Trailhead and you will be able to use the shower facilities at the Oak Mountain camp grounds on the other side of the park. You can not park in the field. If you have a pop-up camper, you may bring it. Full-sized RVs are not allowed except at the park's permanent campground.

BUMP will provide the park with a list of all registered campers. Just tell them your name when you get to the park. This will allow you to leave the park without having to pay to get back in as well as use the shower facilities. Actual sites are first come, first serve. We will not reserve a spot for you.

Please be aware the park is allowing this for Bump N Grind only. We want it to be a good exeperience for the park management too, so please take clean up your site. You must have your site packed up by 3PM on Sunday, June 6.
