Yes. We encourage you to take as many pictures as you want. You are welcome to sell them if you can. Oak Mountain is a public facility and makes no claims on images of the park. We will have
Samuel Guss Photography on site who will be the only one who can sell pictures at the venue
The race will go on rain or shine. We may suspend the race in case of lightning or other potentially dangerous weather situation. Oak Mountain's trail shed water extremely well, so there is a very small likelihood of trail closure from rain. We will post any route changes as soon as possible.
Yes.

The best places to watch are Blood Rock and Johnson's Mountain, but just about any place you can sit in the shade and see the riders is a good spot too. You are responsible for getting to and from the spectator areas. Please allow ample time to walk or ride a bike to wherever you want to go. Bring plenty of water as it can be very hot and humid at the park in June.
Yes. We will have vendors selling food and drinks. Please bring cash. There is an ATM at the park office, but we can not make any claims as to what it charges or how much it gives out, or if it works at all.

No. You must register for the Bump N Grind XC race to race the Turn N Burn.
In places, it can be. Many riders underestimate Oak Mountain's terrain and pay the price in flat tires. Use "lite" or "race specific" tires at your own risk. A few grams on a tire is better than having to stop to change one. Most of the course is on a sandstone/clay base. It's been called a mix of east and west coast style trail. Pre-riding is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Your race will begin at the time posted on our
race schedule. This will be available at venue. Please be at the staging area 15 minutes prior to the start of your race.
No. Once you sign up for the race, we can not refund your entry fee.
